Awana at The Summit Church

The Summit Church

One vital segment of the Summit Church children's ministry is Awana, which we implemented in 1991. This ministry is a valuable aid for parents in equipping their child to become a lifelong follower of Jesus through scripture memorization and practical scripture application. Awana directly reflects the mission, vision and values of The Summit Church. Children learn to love, obey, and know God's Word, the Bible (Psalms 119:11).

The Awana acronym is derived from (2 Timothy 2:15): “Approved workers are not ashamed”. The Summit Church provides this for children three years of age through the sixth grade and is designed for them to enjoy the excitement, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment of the Christian faith.

Want to give our Awana club a try? We'd love to have you and your children as our guests. Bring a coffee if you like, and be prepared to cheer for your child's team.
